Why Bedding-in Matters

By using the Elvedes DBO for bedding-in, the surface of the brake pads is perfectly matched to the rotor surface, while a thin transfer layer of friction compound is deposited on the rotor. This results in reduced or eliminated vibration and brake squeal, stronger bite, and increased pad life.

Smart Tech, Simple Operation

The Elvedes DBO guides the workshop mechanic step-by-step through the bedding-in procedure. Using a touchscreen, the correct brake compound and tyre size (ETRTO) are selected. The machine then automatically controls the correct bedding-in speed while the brake lever is manually applied according to on-screen instructions. No more guesswork: “How long?” or “How hard should I brake?” The DBO tells you everything step by step, each and every time.
