OBH’s Mission:
To make micro-mobility safer by encouraging the use of helmets — making it as natural and essential as wearing a seatbelt in a car.

Storytelling:
OBH was founded by Elies HAMZAOUI, an industrial engineer who became aware of the importance of wearing a helmet while living in Australia (where it is mandatory). Upon returning to France, he realized that helmet use is not a matter of law but of awareness — and that many users avoid wearing helmets because they find them too inconvenient for daily use.
He also noticed that all helmets were manufactured in Asia and had a maximum lifespan of 3 to 5 years (as defined by certification standards).

He decided to tackle the issue by eliminating the inconvenience associated with helmets and by designing a Made in France, 100% recyclable helmet.
This led to the creation of On Board Helmet, whose initials form the brand OBH Mobility.

OBH’s Vision:
Just as the seatbelt is an integral part of the car, we believe the helmet should not be brought by the rider but should belong to the bike or scooter itself.

History:
Between 2021 and 2025, OBH prototyped, developed, and industrialized its on-board helmet solution.
After launching its 100% French production line, OBH began commercializing its products in March 2025.

Awards:
The product won the Gold Medal at the "Concours Lépine" in 2023, as well as the First Prize from the "Paris Police Prefecture".
