CYCLITE was founded in 2020 in the Bavarian Alps with the mission to develop innovative products for all passionate cyclists. What drives the founders, Christoph Kirsch and Max Barnsteiner, both at the creation of CYCLITE and in the development of every single product, is their frustration with existing bike transport equipment—often too heavy, impractical, and simply not as functional as they wanted it to be.

That’s why they decided to do it better and revolutionize bikepacking with completely new ideas. Christoph and Max draw on decades of experience in the textile and sports industries—after developing countless products for the outdoor and aviation sectors, they can rightfully call themselves experts in lightweight construction and materials. They know how and where these products are made and how to develop innovative, high-quality fabrics.

Thanks to many years of close cooperation with their production partners, they can rely on their expertise and manufacturing quality—and fully dedicate themselves to their vision: cycling free from unnecessary weight and full of unforgettable experiences.
