The acquisition of 100% of Cicli Olympia marks another key step in the growth and consolidation strategy of the brand, which chooses to invest and look to the future with determination, despite current challenges and the complex moment facing the bicycle industry. The aim is to preserve the value and know-how of Italian cycling manufacturing. A long tradition of craftsmanship and innovation unites the two companies. Cicli Olympia, a historic company with a 2023 turnover exceeding 17 million euros, was founded at the end of the 19th century in Milan. It built its legacy around competitive cycling and the heroic athletes of the past. Since 1959, under the leadership of the Fontana family, it relocated to the Veneto region, where it has grown and continues to be an iconic brand in Italian cycling. Today, the company is based in Piove di Sacco (Padua), and Lombardo Bikes reaffirms its commitment to preserving this facility, ensuring the continuation of local production.
