16-17-18 Core 2: Re-chargeable headlight from Busch+Müller in the next-generation
The new re-chargeable headlight from Busch + Müller, carries a name that is very familiar among enthusiasts of outstanding bicycle lighting. Core, the popular and multi-award-winning bestseller from the Meinerzhagen lighting specialists, has a strong successor in Core 2. Thanks to its silver stainless steel look and surrounding impact buffer protection, its roots are immediately recognisable - and yet its dynamically adapted design
is truly trendsetting.
The innovative lighting technology of the Core 2 illuminates the track evenly and widely with a full 70 lux but, above all, offers unparalleled long-range illumination, which maximises the feeling of safety particularly for fast cyclists. At the same time, this technology ensures the beam does not dazzle oncoming traffic. Core 2 offers a new dimension of beam-pattern quality that was previously only available in this form two price categories higher.
In the highest of three brightness levels that are clearly displayed by blue LEDs (as is also the charge level), the Core 2 lights up for a full 2.5 hours and then switches to a lower brightness level for a further 2.5 hours to guarantee a safe journey home. In the lowest mode, the headlight provides approx. 15 lux for more than 18 hours.
Core 2 can be fully charged via USB-C and the enclosed fast charger within no more than 1.5 hrs. When on the road, the same USB-C port can be connected to 3rd party devices, and the Core 2 can be used in its secondary function as a portable power bank to charge them – the perfect Bike-Packing headlight!
Core 2 aligns with the sustainability concept of Busch + Müller: friendly. In keeping with the requirements of current directives, the lithium battery is replaceable.
