Clarijs is a traditional family business founded in 1948 in Zeeland, the Netherlands, by the Clarijs brothers. Originally a saddle maker, the company quickly evolved into a specialist in working with sailcloth and related products. As demand for leather goods decreased, we shifted our focus to bike bags and protective covers for cargo bikes.

Now run by the next generation Clarijs has grown into an international brand. Our handmade bike bags and covers are sold in more than 12 countries, including Canada and the United States. Despite our growth, our core remains unchanged: craftsmanship, quality, and a passion for timeless, handmade design.
