Qibbel Air: the super-light bike seat

Cycling with your child, as a mother you look forward to it. The first bike trips with your baby are unforgettable. And later on, it remains wonderful to go out together. To be able to cycle safely with your child you need a good and comfortable bicycle seat.

Qibbel sets a high standard with its new rear seat, the Qibbel Air. This model is comfortable with a backrest of mesh. The high backrest supports the back optimally and is airy and breathable. This is made of mesh, which is pleasant on warmer days where ventilation is welcome. In case of rain, the high ventilation content is also pleasant, because the seat dries faster. The mesh backrest is durable and therefore lasts longer.

The Qibbel Air is also known as a safe child seat. The model complies with the EN 14344 standard and is suitable for children from about 9 months to 6 years. This equals a maximum weight of 22 kilograms. The Qibbel Air itself weighs only 2.5 kilograms and is the lightest rear seat on the market.

The seat has a safe five-point belt and the adjustment of the belt is automatic. The belt height automatically adjusts to the size of the child. This is useful for growth or when several children are transported with it. You can also adjust the footrests - without grasping in a toolbox.

The rear seat is supplied ready-to-go and can be mounted directly on the bike from the box. The seat can be mounted on the luggage carrier very quickly and easily. The wide teeth of the fastening clamp ensures that the clamp can be quickly turned in and out. With the release at the back of the mounting, the seat can also be easily disassembled.

Qibbel is produced by Widek B.V. Since 1936, Widek is manufacturing bicycle parts, accessories and bicycle seats at the production facility in Krimpen aan den IJssel.
